Economical and social effect of SDMC-103 microprocessor systems implementation:
  1. Reduce consumption of electrical energy by 30 ÷ 40% in comparison with traditional trolleybus .
  2. Simplify the trolleybus control process: the acceleration pedal work like of the car. All the necessary parameters for the driver are showed on the display (velocity of movements, trolleybus defects, opening or closing of doors, etc).
  3. Smooth acceleration and braking in comparison with traditional methods, that reduces deterioration of trolleybus running gear, chassis frame member, etc.
  4. Part of traditional trolleybus hardware, concerned with cooling of starting rheostats and electro motors is removed.
  5. There is possibility to scan the system stored data (traversed distance with average velocity, max. velocity, all self-diagnosis messages with occurred time and counter).
  6. In comparison with analogical systems the SDMC-103 have the following particularities:
    1. More functional possibilities.
    2. One of the first onboard trolleybus computer.
    3. A little weight – 45 kg (the analogical systems are heavier).
    4. It’s possible to install the SDMC-103 in the existing compartments of the trolleybus – drive cabin (the analogical systems are installed on the roof of trolleybus).
    5. It’s not expansive: the SDMC -103 price is minimally twice lower.
  7. Warranted servicing in the course of the year.
